Interesting Point : About Lorong Chuan History

Opened sometime in 1964–65. The area used to contain farmland and kampungs. “Lorong” is the Malay word for a lane or alley, while “Chuan” means “Fountain” in Hokkien, an auspicious name referring to wealth and prosperity. Stretching approximately 2 kilometres, Lorong Chuan running from Braddell Road in the south to Serangoon Garden Way in the north. It’s also connecting Boundary Road and Ang Mo Kio Ave 1. A mere 5-min drive from Chuan Park, at the other end of Lorong Chuan, you will find Serangoon Garden.
